Made in Japan Hybrid II is a series that deserves to be called a "hybrid", incorporating desirable modern specs that conform perfectly to any chosen style and maximise playability, while maintaining the vintage look and vibe of the original iterations of the instrument. Made in to the highest standards in Fender’s Japanese factory, the Hybrid series of instruments combine premium playability and authentic Fender tone to create the ultimate guitar for a wide range of styles and genres. Premium appointments include a two-point tremolo, locking tuners, USA-spec CTS pots, a Modern C-shaped neck profile, rosewood fingerboard with a modern 9.5“ radius and 22 narrow tall frets.
The 25.5" Modern C neck has a beautiful carve and a satin urethane finish for ultra fast playability, and features locking vintage tuners for rock solid tuning stability and ease of restringing. The rosewood fingerboard has a subtle roll to the edges making it very comfortable to play and giving the neck an overall premium feel.
The Hybrid II Custom Voiced single coils are high quality bevelled and staggered alnico which offer exceptional vintage style tone and have loads of classic single coil goodness on tap. Plenty of high end bite, mid range body and low end tightness that can be instantly recognised as that classic Stratocaster sound.
This guitar has been professionally setup with 10-46s and is playing like a dream with no dead spots or buzzing present. Condition presents as absolutely brand new as this guitar was acquired as unplayed Japanese stock, still bearing the protective plastic on the pickguard and backplate. Frets are at a solid 100% with no wear, and included is the original gig bag, paperwork and tremolo arm!

How much is shipping?
We offer free Australia-wide shipping for orders over $200 via standard courier services. For smaller items such as small parts and screws, we send via Australia Post regular mail service. All items below $200 are a flat $8.99 shipping rate. Express services are also available at an extra cost, just select it at the checkout and we'll get your order out extra fast!
How long does shipping take?
It varies based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders for items that are in stock with our Lewisham store "135 New Canterbury Road, Lewisham 2049", are usually shipped same day, however items ordered from "Deep Tone Warehouse Supply" are special order items that are not stocked in the store. These items can take 2-4 business days to arrive to us from the supplier; from there, the item will be dispatched from our store and the nominated method of shipping will be followed:
For "Standard" shipping:
- VIC, SA and NSW: 2-4 days
- QLD: 3-5 days
- NT, WA and TAS: 5-10 days +
For "Express" shipping:
- VIC, SA and NSW: 1-2 days
- QLD: 1-2 days
- NT, WA and TAS: 1-3 days

Once orders leave our warehouse we have no control over the actual shipping time, however we'll do everything we can to ensure a prompt and problem-free delivery experience.
