Made under license by Fender in Korea in the 2000s, the FM-62SCE is the ultimate acoustic/electric mandolin with very unique styling, a great sounding piezo pickup and decorative features that give this model a very distinctive look. Combining great playability with great tone and design, this FM-62SCE is finished in a vibrant red sunburst finish over the solid maple back and sides and features a solid maple neck with the same gorgeous burst finish on the back side. A discontinued model from Fender, these rarely come up, especially in this condition!
The neck has a 13.7" scale length and a rosewood fingerboard with 29 very small frets for playing very small chords. Featuring cream binding and a decorative pearloid "Fender" logo and matching decorative inlay, as well as a pearloid truss rod cover, this mandolin is not lacking in the bling department. It's equipped with 8 4-in-line brass plated machine heads for keeping tuning for solid.
Although small in size, this mandolin is big on tone with it's hidden piezo bridge pickup controlled via a single volume and tone control. The pickup unlocks the wonderful acoustic tones produced by the instrument and offers a wide frequency range and faithful transfer of folky goodness.
In 100% original and fantastic condition with almost no playwear, the mandolin is free from any dings, dents or major scratches and has been professionally setup with Dunlop 10-34s with a very comfortable action, great tuning stability and accurate intonation. Comes with its original hard shell case.

We offer free Australia-wide shipping for orders over $200 via standard courier services. For smaller items such as small parts and screws, we send via Australia Post regular mail service. All items below $200 are a flat $8.99 shipping rate. Express services are also available at an extra cost, just select it at the checkout and we'll get your order out extra fast!
How long does shipping take?
It varies based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders for items that are in stock with our Lewisham store "135 New Canterbury Road, Lewisham 2049", are usually shipped same day, however items ordered from "Deep Tone Warehouse Supply" are special order items that are not stocked in the store. These items can take 2-4 business days to arrive to us from the supplier; from there, the item will be dispatched from our store and the nominated method of shipping will be followed:
For "Standard" shipping:
- VIC, SA and NSW: 2-4 days
- QLD: 3-5 days
- NT, WA and TAS: 5-10 days +
For "Express" shipping:
- VIC, SA and NSW: 1-2 days
- QLD: 1-2 days
- NT, WA and TAS: 1-3 days
